Danish companies and institutions have for many years conducted intensive research and development within hydrogen and fuel cell. As the first Danish company ever to participate at Group Exhibit Hydrogen on Hannover Fair, H2 Logic displayed the solid Danish competences on system and market integration of hydrogen and fuel cell technology.
"We focus on satisfying costumer needs through use of the hydrogen and fuel cell technology. We are therefore very interested in displaying our products to the world and having customers demonstrating and testing our products. We want to make sure we satisfy real needs, and the best way to find out is to make the customers see, feel and use our products" says director H2 Logic, Jacob Hansen.
As one of the relative few companies at the Hannover Hydrogen Fair, H2 Logic was ready to sell their newly developed H2 Truck. The vehicle is sold for demonstration purposes and six H2 Truck's are allready in operation in Denmark, making the H2 Truck Europe's first batch produced hydrogen vehicle ever.
The H2 Truck had a huge penetration at the Hannover Fair. Among many visitors and test drivers where the German State Secretary in Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour Georg Wilhelm Adamowitsch.
The commercial level of the H2 Truck was also spotted by the world leading Fuel Cell news website, Fuel Cell Today. In one of their daily reports from the fair they state the following about H2 Logic:
"On the stand H2Logic had one of their funky little delivery vans, of which they have
already sold 6, on show. The fuel cell unit is neatly packed away under the drivers
seat leaving a large space in the back for whatever type of storage the customer
requires - the example on show had a refrigerator unit on board full of chocolate
cakes! When I asked about costs, something that only two years ago would be have
been something of a taboo subject for many companies, I was given a price list. Not
only does it list the price of the core H2Truck (46,000 euros) and hydrogen refuelling
station (28,750 euros) but also a number of add-ons. This confidence certainly goes
a long way in promoting this company!
